WABC Conference 2007
October 21, 22, & 23, 2007 St. Petersburg, Florida USA
World Aquatic Babies Congress • World Aquatic Babies & Children
9th International WABC educational conference - for leading learn-to-swim teachers and program directors
Welcome to WABC
We know that after a long summer of teaching...it's time to refresh and
renew yourself in your teaching and program direction.
You can do that by one or both of these ways....
Connect and Join-in the WABC network
None of us is as smart as ALL of us put together...so WABC, the international sharing network for learn-to-swim program directors and teachers, is necessary and beneficial. Nothing worse than having only one way to do things and you can't live long enough to make all the mistakes yourself! :-) Come learn from others as you share what's working for you.
Participate in the 9th WABC educational conference
in St Petersburg, Florida Oct. 21-23, 2007
Couldn't be closer and easier to connect with other leading directors and teachers. (Last conference was in Sweden and the next will be outside the United States). Hear over 20 presenters then have a discussion around your table on what you heard and how you and others do things. YOU are truly a PARTICIPANT when you come to a WABC conference. The focus is primarily on teaching and learning but you can't help also picking up many ideas on organizing and promoting your program in the process. Attend 1, 2, or all 3 days. This is a very exciting event!!!
The event is at the Mahaffey Theater Ballroom...400 1st Street South in downtown St Petersburg, FL.Click on the tabs at the top of this page for conference details but use your back space to return to this page for the special offer below that WABC is making to first time members as well as conference participants.
You need the break and your program owes you that. You owe yourself this break. Your continued professional development is essential to your organization's health and progress. Staff development is a necessary cost in operating any program, business or organization. You need to be improving continually.
It is unreasonable to think that the basic teacher certification course you took some time ago is now sufficient to meet the needs and demands of your organization or those you serve much less be competitive with other growing programs in your area.
Program directors and teachers need to take care of their professional development and, where it applies, seek the support of their organization.Have you visited the main website for WABC?
You should - to learn about our network Click http://www.WABCswim.com/>>>But do back space to return to this page to either join the network or register for the conference.
